This batch has everything from a 1950 Brooklyn pizza counter to the Houston family that put fajitas on the map in 1973, plus an Arizona cafe baking pies since 1918 and a former Austin food trailer now running 24 Via 313 locations.

Executive Chef Wissam Baki runs a modern Lebanese kitchen in Coconut Grove where the menu centers on shareable mezze and freshly baked pita. Bobbee O’s BBQ

Charlotte, NC

Operating out of Statesville Road in Charlotte since 2008, Bobbee O’s smokes ribs, brisket, and pulled chicken, but the real signature is the sauce. Three whole wings run $16.99, pulled chicken plates go for $17.99, and the mac and cheese starts at $4.99. They’ve got a catering truck for off-site events and run fundraiser partnerships with local nonprofits. Open Wednesday through the weekend.

Bonrue Bakery

St. George, UT

Co-founded in 2021 by Chris Connors, Li Hsun Sun, and the late Chris Herrin (a Bouchon and French Laundry alum who worked under Thomas Keller), Bonrue started as Farmstead before a name change. The European-style bakery opens daily at 6 a.m. across its St. George and Hurricane locations, with Northern Utah expansion coming in 2026. The name combines the French words for good (bon) and street (rue). Croissants and pastries are the draw.

Bourbon Street Bar & Grill

Bedford, TX

This Bedford Cajun joint went viral for its soft serve margarita and hasn’t slowed down. The menu runs through gumbo, crawfish etouffee, and po’ boys, with a full Cajun catering operation for off-site events. Weekly specials keep the regulars coming back, and you can order online for pickup. Louisiana by way of the DFW Metroplex.

Bricktown Brewery

Oklahoma City, OK

Twenty-two locations across five states, each brewing its own beer on-site. Carl’s Corner Steaks & Subs

Family owned and operated since 1991 on the north side of Bethlehem, just minutes from Moravian University. The current deal is two 14-inch subs for $24.99 with a mix-and-match choice of Italian, American, ham and cheese, tuna, or combo cheese. The cheesesteaks have a local following, and the curly fries don’t hurt either. Hours run Monday through Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m.

What started as a single food truck in 2012 has grown into a fleet of trucks, four brick-and-mortar locations, and a full catering arm with a $1,800 minimum truck rental. All the chicken is halal, hand-rubbed with a proprietary spice blend, and served over rice with the signature white sauce on the side. They’ve donated over 4,000 plates through their partnership with the Women’s Lunch Place. The trucks roll through Harvard, Dewey Square, and Longwood on a posted weekly schedule.

Dave’s Deli And Gelato

Dave’s slices its meats to order, not in advance, and you can taste the difference. Open since 2013 on 19th Street NW, DC Pizza has built a 4.7-star rating across more than 1,000 reviews. Dirk’s Dockside Bar

Tommy and Ninfa Laurenzo’s family opened this Washington Avenue market and taqueria in 2004 on the site of a former carniceria that had served the neighborhood for two decades. Falafel Plant

Women-owned and certified kosher, Falafel Plant operates inside the Turnstyle Underground Market at Columbus Circle. The all-vegan and vegetarian menu is built around farm-sourced ingredients made fresh daily, and their Faberge falafel, a hard-boiled egg wrapped inside a falafel ball, has drawn attention from food writers. The Sicilian Butcher

Chef Joey Maggiore built this concept as an ode to his father, Master Chef Tomaso Maggiore, who left Sicily at age 20 and went on to open over 50 restaurants in the U.S. Pasta is made in-house daily, and the five-foot charcuterie board is the signature centerpiece.
