It’s another week of good vibes! Many states once devastated by COVID-19 are now reopening after a decline in the number of cases, including Washington, New York and Louisiana. Several restaurants across the country are reintroducing dine-in options with social distancing guidelines while also offering contactless delivery and takeout options. Best of all, we continue to see our corporate and restaurant partners stepping up to the plate to help out their local communities. Here are the good things happening this week:
Our corporate partner Uber is implementing rideshare standards that prove one can be open for business, even if it’s not ‘business as usual.’ Both drivers and riders will be required to wear masks, no more than three people will be allowed in a car at a time and their app will provide an easy way for drivers, couriers and customers to report any violations.
As businesses are looking to reopen, they are facing a whole new set of health and safety measures that can be daunting to consider. To help navigate through the process, our corporate partner Salesforce has developed a suite of products to provide general guidelines and tips. From an employee wellness check system to a command center that provides up-to-date information on reopening readiness within your location, these products will help you and your employees feel more prepared for when it’s the right time to come back to the office.
Are you starting to go a bit stir-crazy without common social interaction? Our restaurant partner BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is partnering with Guinness so that beer fans can rejoice with a virtual happy hour on Thursday, May 21st at 4pm EST. The happy hour will feel just like a traditional brewery tour, complete with a short history lesson, beer pouring tips and a Q & A session. So grab a growler fill and 6-pack of BJ’s Handcrafted Signature Beer and get ready for a good Thursday night!
